Welcome to Learn to Drive – Melbourne (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking a lesson, accessing our website, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Services

Learn to Drive – Melbourne provides manual driving lessons, refresher sessions, and VicRoads test preparation through accredited instructors.
All services are subject to availability, location, and instructor scheduling.

2. Bookings and Payments

• Lessons must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or email.

• Full payment or deposit may be required to confirm a booking.

• Payments are processed securely via trusted third-party providers.

• Prices are subject to change, but confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed rate.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may forfeit the lesson fee.

• “No-shows” (failure to attend) are charged in full.

• If we need to reschedule due to weather, vehicle maintenance, or instructor illness, you’ll be notified as early as possible and offered an alternative.

4. Student Requirements

All students must:

• Hold a valid learner permit, P-plate, or overseas licence recognised by VicRoads.

• Be physically and mentally fit to drive.

• Follow instructor directions at all times for safety.

• Wear appropriate footwear (no thongs or heels).

We reserve the right to refuse a lesson if a student is unfit or unsafe to drive.

5. Vehicles

• All lessons take place in dual-control manual vehicles maintained to VicRoads safety standards.

• Students using their own vehicles do so at their own risk and must ensure the car is insured and roadworthy.

6. Liability

While every effort is made to provide a safe learning environment, Learn to Drive – Melbourne and its instructors are not liable for:

• Accidents or incidents that occur during lessons in student-owned vehicles.

• Loss or damage to personal property.

• Any indirect or consequential loss arising from lesson delays or cancellations.

7. Test Bookings

• VicRoads driving tests must be booked directly via the VicRoads website.

• We can assist with scheduling and provide our vehicle for test use at an additional cost.

• Students must bring required identification and documentation to their test.

8. Behaviour and Conduct

Respectful behaviour is expected at all times. Abusive or inappropriate conduct toward instructors or staff may result in lesson termination without refund.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not share personal data with third parties except as required to deliver our services or comply with the law.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, materials, and the 5-Shift Program™ are the intellectual property of Learn to Drive – Melbourne and may not be copied or redistributed without written permission.

11. Updates

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the revised terms.
